steve-gers
The problem is starting to get slightly worse, started off a while back that it would smoke after a long idle period and now it smokes once the power is put back on after lifting off aswell. No smoke at all during normal driving or boosting though and from reading on here i'm pretty sure it's the valve stem seals although I would rather check before changing them as it was only a couple of months ago I changed the manifold and there was no oil. Idrees
Sounds more like turbo seals to me buddy.Remove a FMIC pipe and check for oil. Also what colour is the smoke?
Jamie1st
Turbo I'd guess at, mine used to smoke like fuck if it wasn't being driven. Smoke only on idle and when you rev'd it out of gear
Johnboy GT
Definetly turbo seals. Sounds exactly like mine used to be! John

steve-gers
Smoke had stopped so it went out my mind then coming home from work today and an intercooler pipe blew off and when I checked there was a fair bit of oil sprayed. Put pipe back on and will put more oil in her tonight, could I limp it in and out of work thus week until I get a new turbo? And does anyone know of any for sale? Cheers
