Changing Exhaust Manifold

I have all bolts except one out on the old manifold....

How did you guys get the bottom left nut off (engine to manifold)?????!!!! I just cant get in there!

Also, read that the turbo has to slide forward.....how to i get it to do that? cant see what to undo.

It's a pain in the ass ! When I helped change a friend's mani on his glanza we had to get it from under the car and use a bendy socket adaptor, if I remember correctly

its either that or move the powersteering pump out of the way

Like above take the power steering pump off and you haven't already take the radiator off gives you so much more room

I take the oil filter off then i can just get a spanner to it mate.

think when i did it i had a footlong extension with a socket on the end and was just able to squeeze in, its a pain in the arse and i would be happy if i never had to do one again lol

Angled ring spanner, simples

Use a spanner mate, thats how I did it, remember a spanner has 4 sides to it ;)
