Power steering pump

Does anybody know weather or not its common for the power steering pumps to pack in (shit themselves) on the ep91 glanzas my car as been off the road for six months and started my car u for the first time yesterday and theres a realy loud rattle coming from the power steering pump and when ive messed with it theres loads of play in the pulley is it knackered or is it meant to be like that ?

not a common issue as far as im aware, as with anything this old and mass produced it may have come to the end of its life....get a another pump on there the pulley should be solid is the nut loose at all?

not as far as im aware i will have a try at tightening it up a bit more when i get in but when it was on the road last it had a little bit of play in it but nothing like it is now haha the noise its making makes the car sound like it has no bearings haha

i got a power steering pump and lightened pulley id sell you.

its off a gt but 99% sure it will fit.

Replace the pump, not sure if the N/A one fits....easier to get hold of

Its not the pulley that needs replacing mate i think its the shaft on the pump but how much do you want for it ?
