AdamB
I thought Aze had his head lift at 1.6 bar on a big turbo lol. Options are to run 4AGE headstuds, get the block drilled and tapped to suit, along with the cylinder head and head gasket. Bit of a pain. I'm doing the headstuds because I know when it's done, no matter what turbo I want to throw on there it will take it.Try Tighe cams, I got a spec sheet for their cams and they do a wide range for the 4E motor, can't remember the price without checking my emails but I think they are about £500. turbo Grant
It's a pain bolting the head down with the 4age studs in haha. Will take 2.4 bar with the studs in. It's more to do with ignition timing when running big boost. You get some knock and the head gasket takes the blow.
AdamB
Did you grind some of the head away where the nut goes on the stud Grant? It is a major ball ache to do, but once its done, its done for good
turbo Grant
Not a big ball ache. 15mins with a die girder and your there. Then you can fit the socket on the nuts. Only really need to do one side and cut the studs down under the cam gears
