A L 3 X
Is this possible at all? Now I've bypassed it and removed the engine bay piping it seems pointless having it there, is it okay to remove and unplug it like the lightweight models or what?CheerS
akyakapotter
i dont have one replaced it with my ebc so yeah you can just unplug it ;)
3sgtestarlet
Hey there if you clear all ecu faults then unplug it and drive it for few mile then check your fault codes. If no fault codes show then shouldnt be a prob, maybe even recheck it at later date again to be sure. I take it your using some other boost control?
A L 3 X
Ah cheers akyAnd ah I see mate, no not using an ebc ATM, I've bypassed hi and li, got a hks actuator with a manual boost controller currently but soon want to use an ebc and put it where the old one went? Mikep82
Can there be problems when unplugged?
A L 3 X
Mine seems fine, got my greddy profec installed today but it's still boost creeping
Mikep82
I had a ct9a and it creeped allot. Installed a hks actuator and it didnt creep anymore. maybe cause the harder spring inside and its adjustible for more boost then .8 barnow having a Blitz hybrid ct9 with a HKS actuator, on my Blitz ebc there are 2 modes to adjust the actuator to operate.ManualAutoif i put it on manual and choose to let it spool up as quick as it can you got full boost before the 3k BUT then it creeps! Even to 1,64 bar for once. knowing this isnt good for the engine so used the auto boost function and set it to 1,2 bb. Spools up slower from low rpm. but spoolup is the same from about 3k or above. A L 3 X
How do you mean auto?Mine has a setting for "when oerboost occured" according to the japanese translation, which ive set to on, but still it creeps like mad lol
Mikep82
automatic as it spools up a bit slower. Maybe your actuator spring that is almost dead?
A L 3 X
Nah it's a new hks item mate, i assume it's just the old case of the wastegate being too small?
