Starlet Wayne Posted July 3, 2012 Author Share Posted July 3, 2012 I've not has the dials out, was Working fine, but there is a little wire what goes near one of the sensor in the thermostat but it's a clip one like you get clips with 6x9 speakers,and that is broke off, could that be the problem? funny onion Posted July 3, 2012 Share Posted July 3, 2012 That is coolant temp, goes to the ecu (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Mine wasn't connected for 6 months, reconnected it and it never made a difference :/ lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites
turbo Grant Posted July 3, 2012 Share Posted July 3, 2012 The gauge on the dash is the small sensor. Single plug near the 2 pin ecu sensor. If you put the wire from the small sensor to ground the gauge should read max if it doesn't you have a wiring fault. You need to try that with ignition on Quote Link to post Share on other sites
