td04 glanza Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 Not fancy a whole td04 set-up to go with an ex-wastegate mani at a great price ;) pm if you do
Browner Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I have a WEPR external Wastegate ct9 manifold here it needs the studs retreaded as they are wrung though. PM me an offer
A L 3 X Posted July 15, 2012 Author Posted July 15, 2012 I would fancy td04 but I like the quick spooling of ct9, howMuch you looking for out of interestedAs for the ct9 Mani, how do you mean wrung through mate, and will it keep the turbo in stock location?
td04 glanza Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Hmm prob do the whole kit Ex-gated Mani, DP, Ex-Wastegate, Screamer pipe, Td04 turbo and Apexi air filter with re-location kit for £500
Browner Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Whoever took the manifold off the car cross threaded the bolts that slot into the ct9 turbo flange so they will have to be replaced. It keeps the turbo in the stock position I will get you pics tomorrow
A L 3 X Posted July 17, 2012 Author Posted July 17, 2012 @td04 glanza, not a bad price mate, still unsure if i wanna go td04 though man :/@Browner, ah I see, so could I worst case get the studs drilled out and use nuts and bolts? But yeah pics and a price would be good if its direct fit
A L 3 X Posted July 17, 2012 Author Posted July 17, 2012 I probably won't but its just more cash as i've already spent enough on CT9 bits, also I'd need to getit mapped whereas CT9 I can just use a PnP mate.
akyakapotter Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Yeah I know what you mean I got a crap load of ct9 stuff but ended up gettin a td04 minter on a whim for £50 and never looked back im glad I done it though and I'm getting an emb soon
A L 3 X Posted July 17, 2012 Author Posted July 17, 2012 Hmm, i reckon ill try ct9 hybrid at 1 bar for now and see if i get bored lol
akyakapotter Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 (edited) Hmm, i reckon ill try ct9 hybrid at 1 bar for now and see if i get bored lolI ran standard ct9 at 1bar 1.2 special occasions was awesome on spool up and the chatter I got from that little turbo was so loud Edited July 17, 2012 by akyakapotter
Browner Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Yes mate they could be drilled out and replaced with nuts and bolts or perhaps re-threaded with a tap and die setUploading pics now
