One of them is blanked and unused. 1 is for the wee sensor for the aircon tht runs a vac pipe off the inlet. N have you fitted your ignitor yet? Thats my guess haha.

Yeah ignitor is fitted. Got Ryan to have a gander on fb as uploadin fotos there is easier, hopin its alternator and starter motor! Have a gander again tomorrow when i get a minute! Tryin to get her ready so its just a case of send the turbo away, fit it and fire up!

Shittin it! Hasnt been started in about 2 years!

I thought when you said to the right of the inlet mani yhou meant up near the bulkhead lol. What turbo? and i assume your sending it away for a rebuild?

No i do mean there. Its a short length so I've got t have a squint and see. TD05, sendin away to get hybrid and rebuilt buddy!

So if they are all the way up there then how can the be for the alternator? If they are that short? Surely the plugs for starter n alternator are at the other side of the inlet mani where they are?

Well, after hours of work spent of a ramp with no sucess.

The job is complete after a 20 minute job on my drive haha

haha yep pretty much, also had some hi temp silicone left over from sealing the sump, so put a wee bit along the outer edge of the rocker to be extra sure

Yeah mate that wont do any harm. Glad you got it sorted. Shame we didnt know it was coming from higher up to begin with but no harm done in the work you done to it you live and learn lol.

Yea im happy now lol, was just impossble to tell where it was coming from till the timing belt came off.

But im now an expert haha
