Tend not to use the forum much which is a shame really. If a meet was ever organised then i would go now the car is on the road! Whatsapp group wouldnt be such a bad shout tbh John
-
I think that one you guys are on about was actually a bird and her dad that viewed it and told them to keep it? There's a GT on fb for £1500 but I dunno if that floats your boat Ian? John

Scott's Glanza - Project Outlaw - "In For The Build"
Johnboy GT replied to scott-d-'s topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Car looks good mate and some personal touches taking place. As for towing the Glanza with a caddy, that's a no no. Caddy doesn't have the weight rating to tow a trailer and the Glanza hence my reason for opting for another Trafic. Keep up the work bud! John -
Nice base James. And tbh that price imported is pretty damn good! As for your abs delete kit, it's a pity you are having so much issues. I'd suggest using Loctite 542 hydraulic thread sealant. It should seal the leak alot better. John

FPR, how did I install one and set it correctly
Johnboy GT replied to morgan's topic in Ignition & Fueling
Ah you hero Colin, I set mine with the vacuum line connected and couldn't understand why I have a high idle that settles out eventually. I'll be trying this at the weekend then! John -

How do you post stuff in the for sale section.
Johnboy GT replied to ChaseWheatley's topic in Welcome New Owners!
You don't have a high enough post count dude. Think you need 50 atleast. John -
See the start of the helicoil at the top, flick it outwards with a screw driver so it's covering the hole, long nose pliers and pull it out, it'll come out like a spring. Not a problem bud John

All forums I've been a member of run the same way, if you don't have the required post count you can't post or comment on certain areas of the forum. John

You can pull the helicoil out, re dress it with the tap and try again Colin? John
-
I'll hopefully manage that tonight for you. Away on holiday on Saturday till Thursday so I doubt I'd manage to post it out till then. Just so you know. John

90 degree bend vs 90 degree elbow impact on air flow??
Johnboy GT replied to gorganl2000's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
In hydraulics there is slightly more restriction from a compact elbow as appose to a bend but tbh it's hardly going to be that noticeable for this purpose. John -
There's modification to the slam panel to convert it from square light to quad lamp I'm sure but it's not difficult from what I gather. John

Sounds like a lazy starter motor to me. John

😂 I like Mr Freeze one and I've played the box one a few times. Me and a few mates on holiday played Shark. Anyone can shout shark, last one touching the floor has to take a shot! Safe to say we scaled a shit load of drink, especially launching ourselves onto bars 😅. If you know the group well you can play buffalo. Everyone has to take their drink in their opposite hand. If you catch anyone with it in their correct hand you shout buffalo and they have to drain the contents of their drink. John
