Not going to say it's the same but we I fitted my Race tech kit I had to have my exhaust altered to get it to fit. As for your banjo bolt, fresh copper washers in and nip her up. I'd check with it running for any leaks. Not saying that's the done way to do it but it's the way I do it and I haven't had any issues this way so far. John

There is alot of varying views on this. I'm just about finished running in my GT and I have a td04 on at the minute with stock management and an RRFPR and I used boost. I varied the the Rev range also. I've done 700 miles and I'm now using plenty boost, pretty much a hard run in before I've given her. John

What does this sound like? Loose Valve clearance or piston slap?
Johnboy GT replied to mr_K's topic in Forged Series
I checked my valve clearances and even changed to the head I had bought that was a known well built one and it is still there. I've run my one in now and rung her neck a fair bit and it's still fine. John -

I'd imagine it would be possible with a bit of fabricating bud. By chance is the cut bumper in good nick ie all the mounting points in tact and no front exit exhaust cut outs? John

The part where the handbrake cable goes on, if you take off the 'U' off and pull out the piston part you will get the rest out. John

Get a decent set of circlip pliers for putting it back together. The set I have, have quite worn tips and it proved a bloody nightmare assembling it again! John

When I went for my mot I was told if I put my silencer back in my back box it would have helped my emissions. I got an aftermarket cat fitted to my exhaust for it as well. John

Tried going down with it bud and out the bottom? John -
Yeah that will land in my removable section I had made to interchange a cat for MOT so that's pretty handy. John

Maybe order it today or tomorrow and book the car in to get a bung welded in. Cheers Patman! John

Haven't had any issues and she's at about 550-600 miles now which is about as much running in I'll be doing. Yeah been toying with buying a wide band for a while now. I'll add it to the Xmas list 😅 John
