  1. Have a set ordered from Toyota but won't be in till next week would some gasket sealer stop the oil seeping in til I get the new seals ?
  2. Is it possible that one of these seals leaking could be causing a slight misfire every now and then?
  3. Ahhhh I see thanks mate that's probably the only way there's oil getting into my plug tube is it? I've compression tested the engine got good results across all 4 so there's no ring damage or piston damage, unless it's the valve guides but i doubt it is to be honest!
  4. Is there any tutorials on removing these and installing new ones lads because the tubes are fairly deep so I'm at a loss at the moment ! Seems that cylinder 3 has a bit of oil around the plug and I wanna change the seals and see if it cures the misfire!
  5. Just changed to another set of plugs and the chugging has gone seemingly ! Hopefully it stays gone
  6. My engine light isn't coming on at all and it drives fine just when you try to boost or anything up in the rpm it chugs and stutters and if you give it to 4500 rpm or so it pops and backfires? Strange I'm goin to try change plugs back to other ones and see if it sorts it, is 0.9 the usual gap on a plug for these engines?
  7. Only just realised that this problem only arose after I changed my plugs?
  8. Just noticed that when you get to about 4.5k rpm or so and you boost a bit it starts to pop and backfire a bit ? Is that the dizzy then?
  9. Lads what is the white screw thing off the black plug on the coil ? Is it for adjusting something? It's such a faint sort of chugging that you wouldn't be able to see it in a video
  10. Fixed the lambda sensor up and no joy with the spluttering, checked all my vaccums around inlet and no joy, checked map sensor all looks good will check the fuel lines and filter soon my heart is broke with this car
  11. So it's possible it could be the damaged lambda cable? But if it's just a fault then it's more than likely not the cause of the chugging? Is there any chance that a dizzy that's not timed right could cause it to chug and splutter?
  12. What way can I test the map sensor?
  13. Had a look around engine bay and noticed that my screamer has burnt the shit out of my lambda wire? Is this possibly the reason for the leanness? Because I was led to believe that when the lambda is broken the engine runs rich as a safety feature? Or is that a load of b****x?
  14. Lads just checked diagnostics on the Glanza and got code 25 (lean air fuel ratio) is there any way or narrowing down the problem as there could be loads of reasons?
