Not easier picking up a tdi caddy? You will need the loom, ecu etc from the golf. Depending what age of caddy and golf they are then you will probably need to modify engine mounts aswell. John

Adjusted the idle screw on your inlet? John

I'm not sure how relevant this would be now but about 6 years ago I got quoted from a local guy £150 for the top part of one seat on a 306. It might have been that he just didn't want to do it though. Best to find a good upholsterer and just enquire for a quote mate. John

North of Scotland Stu John -
My apologies, I wasn't thinking that far ahead. I'm not expecting it to be perfect for a first time but I get picky with things like this so would be hoping to give it a good go! Any recommended panel beating tool brands? Any preferred filler etc to use? My pal does alot of damage repairables so he has offered to help as well. John

Good news! You can get a mechanical boost or an electrical one. I've got prosport electrical ones to fit but m using a meh animal one just now. John

205 black Gainzy. Unfortunately polish won't take out any of these defects. It would appear that the previous owner wasn't very well liked, and accidents during storage for the last few years has resulted in alot of bodywork needed. Cheers for the input Neil. I'll be sure to use it. John

I thought silver ep82 was Gary! Shame as I've dealt with him and met him in person and he was spot on with me Hope you get sorted out John -
Evening all I've been contemplating prepping and painting my car myself for a while now. I was looking for feedback and personal experiences from people who have had a bash at it or who do it for a living. What material is best used for filling? I know prep is a massive part in this so what sort of processes have you used etc? This is more to see if I will bother trying it or not but I'd really like to be able to do this. Cheers John

Johnboy GT replied to jamiemce's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Well I would have said shifting the hangers wasn't a difficult job. Especially if it's a good exhaust for little money. John -
