Bonnet not opening

The cable has came off from handle . Put so much power with grips plyers etc etc to the cable but bonnet still not opening:?

Not having much luck are you mate pair of mole grips on the cable and get some one to pull up on the bonnet

as above mate, i had this with my v and after banging down on it and pulling it bout it eventualy popped. lubed up yhe cable n catch and has been ok since. dont give up mate!
