Ive checked all my vac pipes etc for boost leaks and nothing :/

Link don't work mate.

I had one of these all for about 2 hours, I had the opposite though and wouldn't hold boost, kept overboosting. Turned out the solenoid was fucked.

Have you tried removing the EBC from the situation? Just run a pipe from compressor housing to actuator. If you still get the same problem, then it would prob be a vac leak.

Good thinking mate , just been reading up on other forums and think my gain is set to high , i dont know when it comes to boost controller's its all jibberish haha

The blitz gear is represented as a percentage of maximum turbo output.

Been around a year or so since I fiddled with it so bare with me lol.

Using the right dial, allows you to adjust the desired boost pressure, remember this is represented as a percentage. Start off with something like 20, with gain at 0. See what your boost gauge goes to, if it goes to say 0.5 bar and you want to run 1 bar, increase this percentage to 40 and repeat the test. When you have the boost set on what you want then you can adjust the gain.

The gain adjustment comes up when you see in the corner of the controller 1,2,3,4. Again start the gain off low, the idea here is to have the highest gain possible without overboosting. Increase the gain till your desired boost pressure just creeps slightly, then reduce the gain a few points. This ensures that your maximum boost is built up as fast as possible but without overboosting.

Heres the manual mate, page 9 & 12 is the one your after.

so fiddling with the actual boost pressure wont make it go up and down ? like ive got mine set to 1.2 bar ? its the actual gain and set what make it go up and down :/ thought these things were meant for an easy life to change boost level's with switch of a button lol ill see how i get on with that mate :)

i dont have a percentage :/ i have this one ? allthough i do have a spare ebc here

If your running an actuator you can still adjust the base boost pressure with this, but remember that the EBC can only increase on the base pressure, it can't go lower than it.

If its externally gated you will have to swap springs.

Adjusting the boost pressure is done by turning the right dial. But this doesn't give a boost pressure, so it doesn't give 1 bar, it gives a percentage.

Its the same controller mate, just a different dash display, setup is exactly the same.

ok then im using external wastegate bud .7 bar spring , my ebc does get to 1.2 bar in the end its just it slows off :/ ill take a pic of my settings on my ebc and post them up now :)

Ok mate cool.

If I remember you have to hold one of the buttons for 3 seconds and this will flash up the gain setting.

Just another thing, make sure the controller is set to WG rather than AC if using an external gate :)

How many boost settings do you have programmed? You may have accidently knocked it onto a different setting.

Looks ok to me mate. You could try adjusting the gain but if its only started doing this recently I doubt it would have anything to do with it.

I thought you run the highest amount of gain possible. Lowering it only makes it more laggy from what I've seen. I would go back over the vac/intercooler pipes mate.

Let us know how you get on mate, and try disconnecting the EBC from the equation as it then rules it out of your problem.

Just had another thought, how old is the controller? I've heard that because this type don't come with any filters sometimes the solenoid can pay up, might be worth spraying some WD40 in the ports.

checked all the vac pipes again and there all fine tightened up the intercooler clamps , one broke so just had get another one , ive had the car a little over a year mate but think the boost controller has been on a few years :) spray wd 40 in the actual solenoid ports? might try just running it on wastegate spring like you said :)
