Lightened Flywheel

Hi im thinking of getting a lightened flywheel from td. What are the benefits from them? Are they worth it?

Revs ever so slightly quicker and gives you a bit more power at the wheels, noticed a bit of difference but only worth it if you have the gearbox off doing something else, the £500 odd its would cost would be better spent on management or other engine mods if you haven't any

Well td offer one for £270 and mines up there having stage 2 forging and a lsd

They are worth it if your changing the clutch at the same time, if not its a ballache just for the sake of a slightly faster rev'ing engine. Not quite £500 Matt, most are around the £250 mark.

the £500 was including the fly and fitting i.e taking the gearbox off/putting on

I wouldn't pay extra to have it fitted unless your doing the clutch together, or wait until your clutch needs doing. I've got the Fidanza one on my Glanza.
