A L 3 X
Right, I've just had my head gasket done and a Td low temp thermostat fittedI'm finding sometimes when I boot the car(especially down hill) the temp drops( sometimes to like a quarter of the way) and sometimes when I pull up my bottom pipe is barely warm, but like 30 seconds later it starts to warm up?Td have already confirmed its fine to me but I'm still worried by it lol? DavidAshton
No point reading anything into it without a proper temp gauge, stock gauge is vague at best!
AdamB
Its probably not best to run a low temp stat in cold weather as the ecu will never get into closed loop and you'll use a load more fuel. The gauge will rise when stationary because there is no cold air hitting the radiator.
