Weyro
So im going to be running a 20% Toluene mix, on Momentum 99. Im running 1bar w/o Toluene, and plan to run 1.2bar with it. Wondering if anyone else is doing this, and can tell me how much leaner i could go. I run an 11.8 AFR atm w/o Toluene, at 1bar. AdamB
Why would you want to go leaner? You have to go richer because Toulene doesn't produce the same amount of heat energy as petrol. Its all in the ignition timing, you get no power increase by adjusting the AFR. It only allows you to run more ignition advance without knocking, plus Toulene is fairly unstable, I wouldn't risk it tbh.
The Toffinator
How about acetone?
AdamB
Very little gains to be had from acetone, virtually none at all really. Acetone is only used as a mixture of blended other fuels.
