Not long had my freshly built hybrid turbo back on the car and it was smoking like mad after a few days.

Took it all off again the other day and the actuator hose has been burned through by the heat from the mani,i reckon thats whats buggered it! :p

Any idea what it'll have done,ie overboosted and knackered the seals?

Oh piss!

The actuator was set at a bar,can't say i noticed how much it was reading on the gauge but it didn't go shooting off the scale as far as i know.

The pipe is singed through enough to leak so thats whats happened there then. :p

Time for another new rebuild kit and ask the rebuild guys to build it again then! :p

It's been on since 15th july and getting worse :p

I took the car down for them to see but needed the tubby off to tell for sure.

It's off now any way so i'll get it down to be looked at this week.
