Recommended Posts

UK spec 1999 Impreza Turbo 2000 Estimated 310bhp

SORN – May 2013

No MOT

Too good to break!

The shell has done 135K

10K worth of receipts – It looks as if it had 2 engine swaps/rebuilds between 2005 and 2006 by different owners. One carried out in Essex by Scooby Clinic (£2690) and one carried out in Perth by AWD Motorsport Engineering (£3848)

Last serviced in December 2012

New battery

New hand brake shoes

MODS: -

Rebuilt V5 STI engine transplant at 88K – Recon STi V5 bottom end and V5/6 STI heads. All receipts and history to prove.

TD05 turbo – No smoke whatsoever

Ecutek Remap at 18psi carried out by Greer sport racing in Beith (standard 95 ron unleaded as car was previously on Isle of Arran with no V-power available) Estimated 310bhp but no proof. Pulls on a standard STI that’s all I can say.

Samco boost hoses and Y-pipe

Exedy organic racing clutch

Walbro fuel pump

Heat wrapped Pro drive exhaust inc. decat – Sounds fantastic and not too loud

Collins Dump valve

Do Luck panel filter

Factory boost controller

Apexi Coilovers

White line front ARB

White line rear ARB

White line front strut brace

Flo-flex polybush drop links front and back

Sti 4pot front brakes, sti rear brakes

Braided brake hoses

Refurbed standard alloys

P1 spec front lip

Autometer oil temp guage, oil pressure guage, boost guage

Infinity 6x9s in the parcel shelf

Kenwood head unit

clear side repeaters

Aero bonnet catches - not functional but parts included

Stainless slam panel

GGR quickshift short shifter

Private registration staying on the car

Bad points

Both Near side coil overs knocking – suspected top mounts (Standard WRX suspension provided)

Rear wheel arches rusting – Common corrosion, been quoted £160 per side to repair

Rear sills need welded – I have cut the bad section out of the drivers side but then my MIG welder packed in so got no further. Been quoted £300 to repair professionally.

Occasionally hits fuel cut. I was planning to upgrade to a Front mount intercooler and then get it remapped.

One front CV boot needs changed – I have the boot

Been off the road since May so brakes may need attention. It has been started every 2 weeks or so to keep it ticking over
