Rob Graham Posted May 5, 2013 Share Posted May 5, 2013 Just changed standard gearbox for LSD one, funny noise?I've just changed my gearbox for an LSD one, the original one knacked the synchro on 5th n started jumping out. Now I've put the new one in there seems to be a lot of play when spinning the wheels back n forward :S. When I'm slowing down there's a knocking noise. When I bought the box the lad gave as the shorter driveshaft but the other one I'm just using off my last box. Is there any difference in the splines on the non LSD driveshafts to the LSD ones??
