Gear box noise

Guys got a noise coming from the engine bay area when I put the clutch down it goes away?

Somtimes when I put the clutch down and back up its gone?

Just to add clutchs just been replaced and the noise wasn't there before the clutch was replaced any ideas? Thanks

What clutch are you using? Was it fully inspected before fitting (even if it was brand new)? I assume the clutch release bearing was replaced too?

Spec 6 puk paddle clutch? Brand new, and am not sure about the release bearing as I didn't fit it

But mine was replaced ? I assume it was replaced with the clutch kit

Mine rattled days after being replaced.

Only other thing it could be is primary shaft bearings. Inside thw box

Is it a sprung clutch? Or solid, could be the springs rattling?

Either way, doubt its much to worry about!

It's a spec 6 paddle clutch mate, I dont think there suppose to rattle

Have you heard some heavy duty clutches, some sound crazy rattley haha

If you are that concerned get the box pulled back off and check it out.

Its just an upgraded stock replacement yeah? Not a full fly, clutch, pressure plate and bearing kit like the mental multiplate ones?

It's a proper spec clutch think it's rated to abt 300 bhp it's a full clutch kit, stock fly wheel
