AdamB Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 The thermostats job is to keep closed until the coolant in the system is upto temperature, then the thermostat will open and allow coolant to pass through to be cooled by the radiator. You can get low temp thermostats which will open at a lower temperature, you will see a gain in power but nothing you will notice or feel, so I wouldn't worry about it.
