Anyone good at video Editing?

Hoping someone could help, did a couple sessions at ford fair on sunday, the camera was mounted on the back window pointing forward, but because it was so sunny, you can hardly see out the windscreen due to the brightness.

Ive messed about with the gamma and brightness in VLC player which has helped a bit, but is anyone able to help or give some advice?
