EPnick22
looking at getting some omp buckets, will these brackets mount onto my current standard GT runners? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Alloy-Bucket-Seat-Mounts-Side-Brackets-Sparco-Corbeau-OMP-Cobra-Rally-Spares-/330975890691?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4d0fb34d03
AdamB
No mate, they look as though they are designed to be a fixed position. Will require a custom mounting seat frame to bolt them to.
EPnick22
all the runners ive seen, those mounts just bolt down onto them though? check these http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4152/5202722678_1287ed6e0c.jpg Edited August 16, 2013 by EPnick22
AdamB
That may work, but that doesn't look like a rail for an EP, the rear part of that rail looks to be like a custom part. I may be wrong but it looks very different to my recaro rails.
EPnick22
i dont think its an EP rail i was just showing an example from google i do engineering so i mean it wouldnt be hard to fix them but was curious so i know what work is involved
AdamB
Ah I see lol. It may well work, tbh am not 100% sure as I think most people just tend to buy car specific rails or make customs ones using the original rails. There is a few people using Omp, Corbeau seats so they may be better people to answer. jezza
I doubt you will be able to bolt these to the OE rails and maintain sliding adjustment. Maybe better sourcing a steel set and get them welded to the rails.
