Hi,

I have just imported a glanza which,as far as I know, is mildly modified with HKS parts.

I am very impressed with the performance but when revved to over six thousand the boost reaches one bar and a light comes on the dash.I am led to believe this is fuel cut although the car does not jerk or judder.I have looked at the ecu and it appears to be standard, there is no boost controller and the boost solenoid looks standard. Also cant see a FCD.So how has the boost been turned up?

Will be selling it soon and dont want to sell it without knowing if the light is anything to worry about.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks for the welcome. You seem like a good bunch

Just checked and its adjustable.Does this mean the boost can be adjusted by altering this?

Also the car is a bit of an enigma, as I have service bills for the parts and work carried by HKS dealers in Japan which include stuff like a FMIC and super silent exhaust, surely you wouldnt spend top money on quality parts and neglect the fueling?

do you have any pictures of the engine bay at all?

yea think of an actuater as the first primitive form of boost control, if its turned up and the fualing has not been altered can only lead to the engine runing lean,

have you checked both sides of the ecu?

Just taken these pics.Sorry about the poor quality!

Havent taken ECU out just looked at front which has a toyota sticker on it,which has been half ripped off perhaps indicating someone has been there before. Also check out the wheels.Thought they were steelies for a start but they are very light alloys.4.4 kg each.
