Recommended Posts

Bought a race-tech tdo5 turbo off eBay a while back with the intention of fitting it to my forged 4e at the time I knew verry little about starlets turbos ect anyway now I'm getting further on with my build I'm wondering if it is too big as I've seen it need à tdo4 and theirs a big difference anyway I'm looking for people's opinions on when/if it will spool or any info on this turbo .... http://m1357.photobucket.com/albumview/albums/Dan_Garbutt/IMG-20120918-00147_zpsc5fc645c.jpg.html?o=13&newest=1 don't know if that link will work as I'm on my phone if not ile add pics tomorrow

That's a very nice turbo, td05h 16gs are commonly used on starlets with good results. Td04 is more of an entry turbo, people looking for more power go onto td05/vf series quiet often.

I suspect that's some form of hybrid, I'd be inclined to message Ricky on here (racetech) and he'll probably be able to advise you on the turbo.

I ran a td05 on a stock engine for a few months, you adapt your driving to compensate the lag. It was good fun!

It's hard to say what the turbo will be like on the 4e without having some idea of the turbo's spec.

. I understand that matey so one more question when you where using your tdo5 lets say you shift from 2nd to 3rd giving it the full beans would you still be on boost when you changed to 3rd or would you be waiting for the turbo to kick in again if that question makes sence :) ? Ta for the help
