Ok lads so plans are to build a sort of budget track car ep82 gtt (don't want to go too mad)

I understand u can do a stage 2 relatively cheap

As I'm not chasing big power I don't fancey paying out for a piggy back ecu and wondered if I could get away with running a fuel cut defender and standard ecu with a td04?

Also what 'type' would I need as I've read there are different types 1 and 2 etc?

Thanks in advance to anybody that can give abit info =)

Dont run a fcd,not a great way of going about things.pretty unsafe also.run a td04 @ 10/11 psi just below fuel cut and that will be plenty quick enough compared to stndrd ct9 @ same boost level

I've done quite abit of reading but I'm still abit baffled, is 200bhp possible without a piggy back or do I put my hand in my pocket? Whats the most common piggyback to use? I see alot of lads using emanage blue

But engine failed as it leaned out ,didnt help that fcd was on there and will never touch one again.

Fuel cut is there to save engine and not a gud idea to hinder that .

If you want a reliable track car, get it on some management, not only will it be smoother, it will be more reliable and easier to fault find.

Yeah the EMB will be fine. TD do offer a package for supply, fit and map of the unit.

For £600 you can get a half decent standalone.
