vineygt Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 was driving last night and put my foot down in second it juddered like fuel cut but there was a massive bang and my mate said there was a foot long flame from the exhaust, it only does this in second annd it runs fine other than this! Quote

vineygt Posted October 12, 2007 Author Posted October 12, 2007 never had fuel cut like that before it fuel cuts in the higher gear normally, i dont get why its backfiring and flaming in second? surely there should be no unburnt fuel in the exhaust if its fuel cutting? Quote
briggers Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 what is the big problem with hitting fuel cut as i have this same problem, happens time to time in lower gears. i thought fuel cut was in place to save engine so its not bad for it? Quote
Glanza_Ragger Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 It hits the set limit and the ecu cuts all fuel supply off suddenly and it may ignite in the exhaust.Might look good but youre engines feeling it.best to set the boost just lower the limit untill you get management etc sorted. Quote
