Danielep82
Just changed the clutch on my ep82. Built it all back up and when I started it up there was a strange ticking noise. At first i thought it was the thrust bearing, as the noise quietened down when the clutch pedal was pressed! Investigated a bit further, and looking through where the clutch fork goes through the gearbox, I noticed the pressure plate was scored - but not all the way round - maybe 3/4 of is diameter. It's as if a bolt has been put too far the gearbox housing or something? Any ideas? It's meant to be going for its mot on Friday and I don't fancy pulling it to bits again Cheers guys
StuDoc 72
U sure u mean pressure plate bud as u wudnt b able to see it when the box is on the engine as it would face the flywheel and is enclosed. Or have u taken the box back off?
