Neil69
I have a 4efte engine Cranked it over to get oil pressure before setting up for initial start and had a massive leak from the cam cap onto the cambelt. I have tried RTV sealant around the seal at the end and that stopped that bit but it still seems to come over the top of the carrier. I have noticed the cap does not sit flush with the head face because of the dowels, is this correct?? Dont want to go mad the the RTV sealant and cause other problems Thanks for advice that Im sure will follow!!!!!
Neil69
Spoke to Mike at TD and he said it should sit flush. So opened up the holes slightly in the cap and sealed it. Will try again tomorrow and see if it still leaks!
