MOT sw Scotland

Hi guys cars due an mot soon, red all about needing cat and not ,could anyone shine some light on this? If the cat is needed does anyone know off a garrage in sw Scotland that turns a blind eye to decats?

if your car is registered after a certain date in 1995 (i think) it will need a cat unfortunately dude

Ok mines a 96 V , ill need to put a wanted thread for a cat, does anyone know off any friednly mot testers in my are? ( Sw scotland)
