N/a starlet SR will a corolla g6r gearbox fit

Hi as the title says i have a sr will the corolla g6r gearbox fit i know you have to swap the bell housings to make it fit is that all that has to be done ?

AFAIK The G6 1.3 4EFE Corolla box is a direct fit, some people have slight gear cable problems but easy sorted if you use the cable off that car.

The G6R Corolla 1.6 4AFE Is the same box bar the bellhousing, which you swap over. Cable problem is the same again just use the cables

6 speed im looking to get and it will be better box when i turbo it next year

6 speed should fit on fine but I will warn you the closeness of the box to the chassis leg on passenger side is very tight and will bang off it best bet is to put a solid mount on the front gearbox side this will keep the box from banging of the chassis leg

Ahh good to know if not ill wait until i turbo it and put a glanza box on it

just a head up drove one and for the life of me couldn't figure out where the banging was from till I was fitting new mounts and seen the rubbing on the chassis leg

May I hijack this thread, I want a G6 box for long now but I want to know if there are LSDs available for that and if the final gear can be changed for a bit longer one.
