Jamesd94
Im running just the standard 1.3 with a ct9 turbo in my glanza and i was wondering what everyones thoughts are on a decent headgasket, like what thickness is best? and what brand? ive just bought a new engine and while its out of the car i might as well get what i need done to it to prevent any future problems. Any help would be much appreciated
DevonGT
If your planning to keep the engine standard for some time, then the standard headgasket will do.
Idrees
You say you've just bought a new engine, is the headgasket perfectly fine on the engine? If so, I would leave it as it is. If you definitely are changing it, I would personally go for an OEM or 1.2nm Athena.
Turk
I personally would leave it. But if you are going to change it go for a thinner head gasket. Ive seen 0.5 and 0.6 mm head gaskets for sale. Trd used to make some but they are discontinued. If you ask me the compression is too low on these engines. Its only a 1.3 and is slow as fuck off boost.
