My cousin has a saxo, he put MULTI-coloured side lights on his....was a good laugh but he looked like a clown.

Once, we pulled out a car park and he didnt have his headlights on, just the sidelights. very convenient cuz the police pulled us. but they just said get rid of them with a warning.

Also, i had the ice blue sidelights in mine up to a week ago but for the MOT they said they had to take them out and put standard ones in for it to pass. No prob because i know him and he gave em back to me to put back in after.

The law doesnt LOVE them but you aint gonna get more than a slap on the wrist to be honest mate.

Mike

PS sorry for the essay

So iceblue headlights are legal but sidelights are not? now im confused.....

They dont seem to make that much difference to be honest they still got that annoying yellowy orangy tint to them which i wanted to get rid of...

Saw someone in an old ford escort van the other day with green tints to his front lights looked well odd...

Think they are high tint ones I had them for a while

As for ice blue sidelights and headlights mine went though MOT fine :)

I did have standard ones in glovebox and said if the other ones dont pass then chuck the others in

I personally think coloured headlights, etc... look chavvy.

My car got advised on the orange running lights, on the MOT, only a advisory though and not a failure. But maybe thats because i work at the place it was MOT'ed.:lol:
