sosolid Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 ok so my car would splutter and is hesitant under 2000rpm when crusing. When i go over this its perfect. It started suddently like 5 months ago. I heard it might be overfuelling. I got a BLITZ ecu, decat, front mount, stanrd air filter, turbo and boost. What is causing this. i can smell petrol and the plugs have dark carbon on dem. The car aint as economic as before. It goes well but just plutters under 2000rpm like its having trouble moving but after 2000rpm its perfect. How can i fix this? anyone got solutions?????but I had all these mods before and it was fine so something has gone wrong?? anyone have ideas what it could be?????does anyone know a mechanic around London who knows these cars well???? thanks guys Quote

TurboTobz Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Sounds like a missfire leads dizzy and plugs would be a good start the ecu will be over fuelling it as thats how they work... Quote
sosolid Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 i changed the sparks. they are iridiums heat 6 and leads are blue magnecores. could it be dizzy cap? and it the heat range ok or should it be higher? boost and turbo is standard?? Quote
sosolid Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 it started doing this the same time i serviced it. could the oil filter be damaged and wont let the oil through easily under load???? i checked all injectors and ht leads etc there al good. so that the only thing im thinking that nder 2000rpm the oil is having trouble going through the filter so the car is spluttering and hesitant..
