G6 gearbox help please please please please.

Hi all.

I am going for the G6 Gearbox, I have everything out and now I am stuck.

I have the shifter and cables from the E11 the gearbox came out of. right now what do I need to use?

The GT shifter with the G6 cables, they don't fit on to the shifter and the E11 shifter is to gig to fit on the mounting brackets.

I am due an op next week so I am wanting to get as much done as I can before then.

Have you tried just using the gt shifter and cables?

No I have not yet, I was told there would not to be able to select some gears.

But I think I might as well give it a shot.

I got the g6 gearbox with the ep91 cables and shifter. ....i had some troubles with the 3. Gear but then i "modified" the cable holder on the gearbox and now it works well.....you need a hammer and some washers. ..i will take a picture

You need to habituate a few days but then it works fine....the gears are really near. ..no need for a shortshifter

Epic thanks matey. Just one more question lol did you use the e11 cable mount on the gearbox or the 4efte one

but remember I have a 4e-fe!

there could be differences because of different oem gearboxes....just try it.
