Aamir
Hi guys,So today i decided to finally finish my car of but I seem to be having a few problems. I connected my battery and the headlights and stereo seem to be working correctly. However, I then started flicking the stalks to see if my indicators would work but they don't. Basically, if I put my left indicator on, the hazards sign on my clocks flicker on and of. Weird right? Also if I try to indicate right it doesn't want to work at all, also no signs appear on my clocks so I'm pretty confused to what's happening at the moment. Also there is a constant relay going on and of situated in or near the distributor cap :/A list of things I'm going to do tomorrow -Swap my Paseo Dials for some SR Dials-Check all fuses-Remove Steering wheel plastic surround to check the wiring for the plugs for the indicator stalksDoes anyone have any idea of what is happening with my car? Has anyone had this problem before? Or know of anything that could possibly be broken or anything?Thank you, any help would be much appreciated Aamir
dangeestarlet
I had the same problem, in the fusebox were the the battery live bolts on I put an earth there or something to do with it or the fuse was broke, I can remember what I done wrong exactly but check fuse box under bonnet and make sure you have only a battery live going to the post were the bolt is and make sure the fuse is not broke , hope that makes sense, lol
Dean_mc88
When I shorted my battery by putting the terminals the wrong way I broke a fuse that I thought was the ABS fuse, same thing happened certain things worked and certain things just sent off mad lights on the dash. The fuse was one of the ones that had to be screwed out and once that's was changed the car started no issue and ran spot on

TimD
Do you have your hazard switch plugged in?The EP82's indicators run through that switch, without it they don't work.
