Glanza_Ragger
wondering if there is any way 2 relocate the airfilter without removing aircon? for use with hybridEither shift the battery and run it straight off of the EFI pipe with some samco nearer to the passanger headlight,Or straight off the turbo, with a 90deg bend, then down towards the road.Only real options you have as you havent got any room to locate it behind the front grill.Only thing with being closer to the road is itll pick more crap up and road spray/water..Allthough a fair few people do run them like it. Glanza_Ragger
cheers buddy, but the turbo inlet is 2 big for the standard efi pipe! could i run samco from the turbo 2 the battery location?cheers! You would stuggle because the EFI pipe comes off the turbo with a 90deg bend, then where the pipe comes up past the manifold its a strange shape, not round. So you would have difficulty running samcos from there, unless you have like a thousand different sized reducer pieces lolBest bet then is to come straight off the turbo, with a 90degree or 145 then get the filter as far away from the turbo and manifold as possible..Probably end up being quite close to the road but as long as you secure it, it shouldnt be a problem. And if youre really worryed about sucking moisture up, make a bit of a shield around the lower half of the filter. It shouldnt be a problem though unless you drive through a small river There youre only real options with the aircon in im afraid bud.
