Difference in fog lights 96/98

Can someone explain the difference between the 96 spec and 98 spec fog lights? Thanks

urm they are slightly different size, and the mounting points arent the same

96 are rather dull and 98 are crystal clear :-)

I wanna fit some on my n/a bumper, obviously I'll need to make mounting points for them, would 96 look better as they won't be too big? What's opinions?
