ash p Posted July 15, 2014 Author Posted July 15, 2014 Cheers mate do you get replicas of these wheels? How can you tell the difference Quote
morgey Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 (edited) Best way is to google it as theres a few reps about now. But if youre buying from a registered dealer then you should be fineVolks with have volk/rays engineering cast into them, volks have the bolt holes slightly offset from the spokes. Where as rota grids are directly inline like so http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm44/wolfy20vrolla/untitled4.jpgYou also get RAVS that are a copy and no doubt some more Edited July 15, 2014 by morgey Quote
ash p Posted July 15, 2014 Author Posted July 15, 2014 So are rota grid v and rota grids copies of rays? Quote
morgey Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 (edited) Yeah. Te37's have been about donkey's years in japan. Rays/volks have been used in worldwide motorsport for years they're a forged wheel designed to take a beating. Rotas are cast so not as light and not up to the hammering of the volks. Id get on wikipedia and read up on volk/rays youll find a lot about them. Edited July 15, 2014 by morgey Quote
