Which engine???

I know this is a retarded question, but I'm going to ask anyway! How do I find out if I have a 1E or 2E engine?

I've inherited an ep70 starlet xl. I believe it's a 1.3 which made me think it's the 2E. But it's got the 4 speed transmission and on the belt cover there's a sticker saying 1E-P52. Is there such a thing as a 1.3 1E?

Hoping this is the start of a new project!

its stamped on the block mate where the radiator hose goos on the engine just under there where the head meets the block you will see something stamped on the dec face might need sanding down a bit after all these years
