No4 148 psiAny ideas as other than smoke car runs fine. No oil in down pipe or hot pipe of turbo either so doesn't look like oil seals Anyone know what compression should be ? Quote

mikey4410 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Ure engines knackered dude. Engine comp should be 160+ on each cylinder. A healthy engine is around 170-175 psi per cylinder Oil coming out of your breather is indication of melted piston/cracked pistonAlso are you doin comp check correctly? Quote

mattglanza79 Posted August 21, 2014 Author Posted August 21, 2014 Compression was good warm plugs out and throttle open had 170 psi. Had a tapping noise then all went load and rattles like fook. Gonna take sump off and have a look but by sounds of it it sounds bollocked big time. Smoking out breather and won't run at all on idle. Quote
