no buddy you would need to remove sump and pickup on the bottom and the head removed at the top.



pistons need to come out from the top

Ah that's a shame, bottom end went and the re grinder wants the con rods for measurements, I thought I could just drop them out the bottom to save buying a head gasket.

theres no easy way of building an engine if you want it to last do everything properly......



to be honest if your removing pistons probably a good idea to re-hone cylinder walls replace rings etc etc

Got new oil pump, water pump, main bearing kit, filter, oil, sump glue etc etc just thought I could do a cheepish way. Might as well forge it while I'm there lol (no chance) thanks for your help buddy
