SweetAs Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Well just thought i would ask as im looking around at teh 1994 GT starlet and the 1996 Glanza starlet what model is quicker standard??Also woundering as i will modify, what model would i be able to get the maximum speed out of after all the tuning stages? As i said probably a silly question but thought i may ask as all the starlet models are nice but i dont know what one to get :S Quote
Sparky Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 The GT is quicker than Glanza standard because it is lighter and doesnt have the boost restriction in 1st and 2ns gears They both have the same 4efte engines so both are equally as tuneable its all down to personal preference in the looks department Quote
SweetAs Posted December 28, 2007 Author Posted December 28, 2007 Can you get the boost restriction taken off in 1st and 2nd gear?? Quote
SweetAs Posted December 28, 2007 Author Posted December 28, 2007 Think i will come back to you when i buy one then, hehe Quote
Marc Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Think i will come back to you when i buy one then, heheGT is fastest standard. A GT will always be lighter than a glanza due to the fact anything you can do to a glanza can be done to a GT. Quote
Guest Enzo Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 yea early kouki gt 0-60 in 6.9glanzas do the 0-60 in 8.2 seconds due to the boost restriction modshope that helps Quote
keirz Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 that glanza figure is a load of poo though.ive pulled a 0-60 in my stock glanza in 6.5 with the just the boost restriction removed timed on a g-tech. either im a driving god, my car has secret mods that i have no idea about (which i doubt) or that glanza figure is very conservative.......... SweetAs Posted December 29, 2007 Author Posted December 29, 2007 Think i will get teh glanza and just remove the boost restriction Quote
keirz Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 remember that glanzas are a little harder and usually more expensive to insure.which ever you choose you will enjoy! even non turbo starlets are cracking little cars Quote
