Budnbass
Started cleaning up my rocker cover with a dye grinder and abrasive pad the other day but it's not getting in all the grooves anybody got and good tips for getting the corrosion off and getting it back to polished metal? AdamB
I've used a dremel before and had no problems? A dremel with like a polishing bit with some auto sol or any metal polishing compound will bring it up.
Budnbass
Ok kool I'll have to raid my mates tool box tomorrow to try his dremel, cheers for that!
AdamB
You shouldn't have a problem with a dye grinder as they rotate faster than a dremel, guess your using the wrong bit.
Budnbass
Yeah I was using a corse abrasive pad on the dye grinder and a wire wheel on my drill, was just taking a while, I think I'm going to try the wire wheel on our bench grinder tomorrow that'll clean it up quicker I think.
