davies700
If anyone can help i went out last night was pretty cold but when I put my foot down turbo boosts up in the high revs and then engine light comes on, when you put your foot down with engine light, the engine cuts out or gives you whip lash. When you turn ignition off and then back on light goes off only mods im running is Blitz air filter with standard intercooler, hi/low bypassed and boost gauge. Not sure if its boost creep, knock sensor, lamda sensor? Wondering if anyone has any ideas,?
Mr. Chem
Boost cut. You're exceeding the factory boost limit of 0.85 bar.Common with the colder weather Edited January 5, 2015 by Mr. Chem

Mr. Chem
ECU like a jam or a blitz that has no fuel cutHks actuator set to a lower pressure.Drive at 90%Do you have a boost gauge?
davies700
ye I have an apexi boost gauge but hi/low has been bypassed so permanently on hi boost
Ryan_EP82 GT
Turn boost down a bit so you dont hit it if its an adjustable actuator!Otherwise youll need either an ecu or fcd/fpr to safely exceed boost cut
davies700
If I buy a hks actuator and turn boost down this should solve the problem?
Ryan_EP82 GT
Yea it will do because you can set the boost to .7 bar or something so it doesnt hit fuel cut (.85bar)
