starlet_kid Posted January 22, 2015 Share Posted January 22, 2015 Well i've had my car quite a while now and i had this problem since i bought it. While shifting from first to second it feels it feel like something stops it before going in to second. all the other gears shift great. I recently rebuilt my gearbox, installed new clutch ad pressure plate, solid shifter bushes and installed a short throw shift kit. The only i didn't change is cables so i'm guessing that my problem. EP82/EP91 cables are nowhere to be found in my country. Does anyone know if the cables from another works??? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

To get it in reverse it's a bit stiff and the first to second selection is very annoying now. Does anyone has the part number for the cables so I can try at the toyota dealership?
