Oil pressure

What's the oil pressure when the minimum oil light comes on? I'm getting an oil pressure gauge and want to set it to slightly above what the minimum would be to prevent it ever getting too low.

Around a bar would be a good minimum.

Mines set to 14 psi min that's if you get a psi gauge

I think the light comes on at 7psi, but by the time the light does come on, damage is already done.

As above 1 bar is a good min figure for idle.
