wastegate spring will any one fit ?

I need to change the spring in my external wastegate for a stiffer one, I only have a cheap xspower external wastegate so will any spring fit or do certain springs fit specific externals? I was going to buy a better one like tial but mine actually works really well so figure if it ain't broke don't fix it .

Well it's a38mm wastegate and I want to run about 20psi

I would always say buy a genuine wastegate just for better piece of mind and quality but anyways what spring is in now? Do you have a EBC a good one?

I run a gizzmo boost controller holds 1 bar perfectly can't seem to adjust it to get more boost though so assumed I needed a stiffer spring, but the with my greddy remote switching button I can get it to overboost to 1.4bar neatly.

A 1 bar spring that's what I would choose I hate the gizzmo's just don't trust them I run a 0.5 spring to run 1 bar the ebc does most of the work for me.
