Mike-530
Hello starlet people! Fairly new to UKSO so hope im posting in the right section.I recently purchased a set of 4 defi gauges and control box from a private seller off this forum (belive they are BF link series).Everything seem straight forward as in linking gauges and sensors to the box but, my problem is getting power to them. What i have to connect is 4 wires to the car as follows...Red- 12v constant (battery wire)Orange-12v when ignition onWhite-12v when small lamp on (ilumination)Brack -groundAny ideas/ help on where to wire these would be much appreciated? Broony
Best place is to tap into is your head unit as it has;Constant live -yellow connect to redswitched live - Red connect to orangeGround - Black connect to place Just need to run a feed from your lights to the white one. I used the feed which supplies the rear lights sliced into that normally a green wire with silver dots on (was in mine) Edited November 13, 2015 by Broony

Mike-530
Are these wire colours corresponding to the ones coming out the actual head unit or the loom that feeds it beacuse...Red out the unit goes to a grey wire on the loomAnd their is also a red on the loom that is not conected to anything lol
Broony
dont splice into the cars loom makes things messy and you can't replace it (easily) In most after market head units they come with a harness adapter thats what i was referring too. Still running stock head unit? Edited November 13, 2015 by Broony
